Karelian regional public organization \"Cultural - Ecological Center\" New generation of environmental \"is working on the Park sustainable environment.
Park sustainable management - a model territory, an example of harmonious coexistence between man and nature.
Project development and establishment of sustainable management of the Park has the following objectives:

We believe that education - is primarily a mastery of skills, methods, and not just acquiring knowledge. That education was of a practical nature, requires a model territory. Such a model area can become a sustainable nature park. Need to move from environmental education to education for sustainable development.
In 2005 began the UN Decade of Education for Sustainable Development. Park should become a place of obtaining practical knowledge, methods and skills for pupils, students, employees of local authorities, heads of municipalities, entrepreneurs, corporate executives working in the field of environmental management.
2. Local economic development, job creation, the development of local government, civil society building, preservation of traditional lifestyles of local people.
Park has become the territory on which will be sustainable forest management, water management, land use.
The place of supply of modern innovation, saving resources and energy technologies, alternative energy development, environmental, waste management practices, environmental housing, organic farming, eco-tourism.
Park has become a center of attraction of investments, a model area for the use of modern innovative technologies, methods for sustainable development.
3. Creating a buffer zone for the two national parks, and Vodlozersky Kenozero (Republic of Karelia, and Arkhangelsk Region).
Use of natural resources in sustainable development is a form of conservation. Creating sustainable management of the Park between Vodlozersky and Kenozero National Park (Republic of Karelia and the Arkhangelsk region) will reduce the human impact on the model territory of wildlife.
Task of creating a sustainable environment of the Park are divided into two stages:
- Development of scientific - economic study for the establishment of the Park, the development of the investment project.
- The creation of sustainable nature park.
Park sustainable management plans in the eastern part of Pudozhsky area in Kubovskogo Krivetsky and rural settlements of the Republic of Karelia, Russia.
This area is located between Vodlozersky and Kenozero National Park, in the river basin Vodla, a major source of Lake Onega, the Baltic Sea basin. The territory is represented by forests, as a passed intensive logging and untouched human action ((ancient forest).). Water resources, lakes and rivers. Agricultural lands.
This project is comprehensive, as it covers the entire landscape and natural resources of the territory. Such a landscape is typical for Karelia and adjacent regions, and for the bordering countries of Northern Europe. This is the area where since ancient times, the use of forests, land and water resources have been the traditional economic activity of the indigenous population.
Field of activity related to sustainable forest management calls for an integrated use of all forest resources. Sustainable forest management should be carried out according to the principles of the Forest Stewardship Council (Forest Stewardship Council - FSC). The use of wood will be on two fronts. Production of wooden houses using the technology program \"Eco-house» (passive house) and the production of fuel pellets, pellets (pellets). This will use harvested wood by 100 percent. In particular, the crown of the tree (branches, leaves, pine needles), as well as low-quality wood and wood from thinning. Detailed design of the complex for processing vegetable raw material, wood-greens (the project cost estimate and design documentation) has passed all necessary examinations of the Republic of Karelia. According to the results of the joint examination of the Ministry of Economy and the Antimonopoly Committee of Russian Federation (Moscow) project was included in the top ten projects in the Russian Federation as an innovative and competitive.
Technology for processing vegetable raw material allows in a single technological process to obtain water-soluble and fat-soluble components and has no analogues.
The technology is designed for processing vegetable raw material trees (living elements of the crown - the branches, leaves and needles) and herbaceous medicinal plants.
The technology allows you to combine the interests of forestry, agriculture, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, perfumery and cosmetics industries. Technology is environmentally friendly and can provide environmentally friendly products.
Biologically active substances obtained by this technology, used in medicine, pharmacology, perfumery, cosmetics, to organic agriculture as dietary supplements in the feed of farm animals and birds, plant protection from pests and diseases in the aerospace, defense, nuclear Energy (as a means of radiation protection).
Also plan to use food forest (birch sap, mushrooms, berries), hunting resources, resources of medicinal plants, the use of forests as places of recreation and tourism.
Field of activity associated with eco-tourism based on the availability of historical and natural monuments.

Agricultural production should supplement the resources of wild berries by their cultivation on plantations (currants, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, rowan, bird cherry, buckthorn). The second direction of agricultural production should be a plantation of medicinal plants as a complement to existing natural resources, including rare, with unique properties
To ensure a high yield of berries and medicinal plants is planned to create a bee apiary at 400 - 500 families in order to ensure reliable cross-pollination, as well as production of beekeeping. It is also planned livestock development, based on the availability of local food resources with the ultimate recycling of its products.
Field of activity related to sustainable water use based on the value Vodla River and its tributaries as spawning rivers. Vodla River is the spawning river for these types of valuable fishes such as lake salmon, trout, whitefish, grayling and others, as well as freshwater lampreys.
